Exciting news from Room 310! We held our class election today and the results were amazing. The students demonstrated their right to vote by choosing our Class President. Students had to pick between two distinguished candidates, Duck or their Teacher. The students made campaign flyers seeking votes for the candidate they thought should be president. In the days leading up to the election, students created their voter registration cards. They had to present their voter card in order to vote in the classroom election. When the votes were counted, the students were excited. With the votes counted, Duck quacked away with 4 votes, and their teacher, Mrs. Jett, galloped away with 17 votes! The class has spoken and has elected, Their teacher, Mrs. Jett, as Class President! After hearing the results, one of the students was excited because their teacher, Mrs. Jett, could now live in the White House because it has a bowling alley in it!
